希望 HOPE

格子の向こうに、日差しが。　さぁ、夜明けだ、一目散！

観覧車は静かに、綺麗に一周して戻ってくる。　ジェットコースターはジグザグギッコンばったんあちこち向いて、やっぱり一周して戻る。　人間が作ったもの。
Ferris wheel quietly, and roller coaster wildly  goes round and round only to come back to where it started.  It is something human built.

ゴール GOAL

大きなゴール、小さなゴール、重要なゴール、通過点にすぎないゴール。　僕は学生の頃、学校に入ることがゴールだと思っていた。　でも、今は違う。　死ぬときに笑顔で死ねる人生を送ることがゴール。
Great goal, tiny goal, important goal, and a goal that is just a check point.  I used to think passing an entrance exam was one big goal.  But, now I want to die happily, which is my goal.

クジラみたいな船 A Boat Like a Whale

お茶の水付近を縫って流れる神田川。　いろんなゴミが浮かんでる（た？）。　瓶や缶やビニール袋。　しかし、そんな心苦しい光景を、心強いマシーンが解決！　この船、真ん中が開いていて、水を飲み込んでいる感じ。　飲み込んだ水はネットで漉され、船が通った後は綺麗♪
Litter in Kanda River that wives through Ochano-Mizu is one of a things not pleasant seeing.  But, there is a super boat that solves this problem.  This boat has a big opening in the front and swallows water as it moves forward.  Than, the net inside the opening collects objects that floats in the water for cleaning.

ヤッツケ仕事 Scamped Work

まぁ、たまには息抜きも必要だ。　手を抜くことだってあるでしょう。　職人が、「チャッチャと終わらせちゃえ」的に仕事をするのをヤッツケ仕事と言う。
で、これ。　看板ぐらい、ズラしてあげても良かったのでは？

Some times, we need to rest.   We may even cut corners during work.  When a workman cut corners of their work, it is called "Yattsuke Shigoto", or "rough and ready work", which can easily be said "negligence". 

This sign board.  Couldn't it be at least moved just enough not to be bolted on to the wall?

文化 Culture

一日の勤めを終え、家路の途に。　最近の節約志向で、残業が減った。　家庭サービスが増えることになるのだろうか？　欧米風に仕事と余暇のバランスにメリハリをつけるのは良い。　後は、日本の文化をそれに合わせるだけ。　それがいつ果たせるかだ。
Evening rush hour, people head towards home.  Because of the saving-mind resulting from the economic situation, over time work has shrunken.  It is pleasing to see more segregation between on and off duty like US and European countries do.  All Japanese has to do is to adjust culturally, if that is ever possible.
