琵琶湖まで 10Km to Biwa-Lake

田植えの季節は、小川が濁り、風は涼しいが日は温い♪
Creek gets muddy, wind is cold but sun is warm at
planting season.

その中、片道10Kmをカメラ片手につらつら散歩。
That made me take a long walk 10Km one way.

琵琶湖は暗く、冷たく、寂しかった～。
Biwa-Lakeside was dark, cold, and quiet.

帰りはバスが１時間以上来ない、だから歩いた。
I had to walk because it was still one hour away from
the next bus.

あまりに疲れたので、こいつに助けてもらった♪
Needed to hop into a bus because my leg hurt.

蛍！ Firefly!

駅から5分ほど歩いただけの住宅街に、無数の蛍が！感動と驚きのエンタテーメント♪ なんか幸せな気持ちに。

Found so many fireflies illuminating the dark riverside, only five minutes away from the station in my neighbor. It is so beautiful and Romantic.

Cycling around チャリブラ

近江富士は、古事記にも出てくる山とされている。長年の浸蝕で平らな土地に突然そびえる432メートルの山。登ると、以外に険しく、ハイキングとは一寸行かない感じが、♡

Oumi-Fuji is mentioned in the oldest history book, Kojiki written 1.3K years ago. During such a long time period, land has been scraped away by natural habitat leaving the Oumi-Fuji there elevating its height at 432m is not an easy one to climb.

そんな近江富士から１０Kｍも走って琵琶湖まで転がっても真っ平ら。海に来ている感覚でも、塩のベタつきが無く、気持ち良い♡
Rolling over and over for 10 good kilo-meters from such foot of Oumi-Fuji, road lies there flat all the way to Biwa Lake. The lake is so big almost like an ocean, but with fresh wind so refreshing.

京都ブラブラ～

古本屋さん。本当に古そうな本が並んでる。

アーケード街にある干物屋さんの２階にある、カフェ。カワイイケーキは、本気で抹茶味。

 京都府民の台所、市場では魚屋、酒屋、佃煮屋、お新香屋が並ぶ。南瓜の浅漬けが絶品だ！

フラリと入ったお食事処のお通しのヤッコと竹酒を竹のぐい飲みで頂く。
京都を満喫した～。

A trip around my home away from Home.

So, I'm here in a country side almost never thought I would adopt here. But, surprising enough, it reminds me of Hartford where I love, and is my Home.

My bike seems to becoming very useful as the landscape here in Yasu is so flat, I don't need any light gear. So, my single gear town rider is just enough to wonder around!

人生山あり谷あり。でも、マヤの大予言も延長になったので、今年から心機一転、エンジョイしましょう♪
There are lots of ups and downs in life. However, the Maya's calendar seems to have been extended, hence we ought to enjoy our preciousness life more!
